Richard and a Debate

On Tuesday, March 17th Richard left campus with Misty. They traveled to her home in Carterville, a few miles East of campus. Here Richard played with Misty's two sisters, met her neighbors, and boyfriend. Richard and Misty did many fun activities together over the next few days. On Sunday, March 22nd Misty, Richard, and Andrew traveled 29 miles to a location in Jonesboro Illinois. This location sets at the coordinates N 37 degrees, 27.496' and W 89 degrees, 16.116'. Misty told Richard about the famous Lincoln Douglas debate that took place at this location. This debate took place in 1858, Douglas stated that he wanted to "trot Lincoln down to Egypt". Richard and Misty reenacted what they believed the debate would have sounded like. They both had a ton of fun. On Tuesday, March 24th Richard came back to Mrs. Stearns at the Carbondale Campus.
