On March 24, Louie went home after class with Georgia. That night he met Georgia's daughter Jaylee and they instantly became good friends. That weekend Louie, Georgia, and Jaylee went to visit one of the most popular historic sites in town, the Marion Carnegie Library located at a latitude of 42.03167 and longitude of -91.59879. The library first opened its doors to the public in 1916. Before going in, an excited Jaylee and Louie posed at the front entrance. Of course Jaylee could not wait to show Louie the children's area and fix him a snack. After Louie finished his snack, the two took time to read a book. Later the librarian showed Louie a framed picture of the H. Cantor home, and explained that the library was built on this site. She also showed us the original and added on areas of the library. Thirty-six miles was traveled by Louie for this trip. Because this is Louie's first trip the total miles traveled remains 36.
